Photos – Knights Help At Special Olympics

From Rick Gall:  While it was a shorter day than expected at the Softball Skills venue, it was no less satisfying to the athletes. Thanks for helping make it a great day for them! There were 26 volunteers from K of C Council 9880 and St. Raphael at Lions Park. Your time, effort, and service are most appreciated! As always, it was a pleasure to volunteer with you!

Special Olympics – Call to Participate – June 2

As we have for many years now, Knights of Columbus Council 9880 will be participating in the NC Special Olympics Summer Games.  Knights, family members, and friends are invited to volunteer at the Softball Skills Competition on Saturday, June 2.  Our Council will again be coordinating the awards presentations, and that shift runs from 11a to 2:30p.  Or, you can volunteer

LAMB in Operation – Visit the Tammy Lynn Center Facility

He is inviting all of us, as well as family members, to a check distribution to be held on April 9, a Monday, at 6 pm. Details are in his email.

Operation LAMB Event Saturday March 10

Operation LAMB, as you know, is a major community and charitable activity for the Knights of Columbus, especially here in North Carolina.  Our Council joins forces with other nearby Councils to pool our collections and donate to about 10 local charities, all in support of people with intellectual disabilities.  It is truly rewarding
